Registrations of new plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) in Europe came to a little over 234,900 units in the second quarter of 2024. Sales had dipped in the second quarter of 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic but jumped back in the third and fourth quarters of 2020.
