Italy: opinion on dogs in public spaces 2019
According to a survey conducted in Italy between May 30 and June 3, 2019, 93 percent of interviewees were in favor of bringing dogs in public parks. Dogs in hotels are also tolerated, 72 percent of the respondents said they were in favor. On the other hand, only 37 percent of Italians were in favor of cats being allowed into restaurants, and only 41 percent of cats being allowed into supermarkets and shops that sell food products.
