Number of foreign visitors to ticketed monuments India FY 2023
In 2023, 0.3 million foreign tourists visited Taj Mahal in India. As an increasingly popular destination for foreigners over the years, India's most visited region was what is called the "Golden Triangle", especially among first-time tourists to the country. It includes the capital city of Delhi, the home of the Taj Mahal, Agra, and Jaipur, the pink city.
