Mexico: spirits consumed value share 2017

Tequila was, by far, the distilled beverage that Mexicans consumed the most in 2017, based on consumption value. During that year, the consumption of tequila accounted for over 33 percent of the value of spirits consumed in Mexico. On the other hand, Mezcal accounted for 1.9 percent of the total value of spirits spent by Mexican alcohol consumers in 2017.
