Guatemala: voting rate in 2019 presidential election primaries

This statistic shows the voting rate during the general presidential elections held in Guatemala on June 16, 2019. Approximately 62 percent of the officially registered voters in Guatemala casted a vote for the 2019 presidential election primaries, whereas almost 38 percent opted not to vote (a total of over three million voters). A runoff election is scheduled for August 11th, 2019 to elect the next Guatemalan president among the two most voted candidates in these primaries: Sandra Torres (UNE) and Alejandro Giammattei (Vamos).
