On that day, around 4.4 million votes were considered valid, whereas almost 460 thousand were blank votes and nearly 210 thousand were considered null. A runoff election is scheduled for August 11th, 2019 to elect the next Guatemalan president among the two most voted candidates in these primaries: Sandra Torres (UNE) and Alejandro Giammattei (Vamos).
