Russia: opinion on 'traffic light' nutrition labels 2018

The survey was conducted before the 'traffic light' labeling in Russia that was launched voluntarily on June 1, 2019, and became a standard in October 2019.
The 'traffic light' labeling is a label that can be placed on pre-packaged food and drinks to show nutritional information with details on the energy, fat, saturated fat, sugars, and salt content.

The respondents could choose several answers. The results were presented for the labeling per 100 grams.

Methodology: the online access panel was in accordance with the ESOMAR, ISO 20252, and ISO 26362 standards with a sample size of 2,000 respondents. The total count of panel participants in Russia amounted to 800,000 persons. Every respondent was certified.
