This statistic shows the result of a survey amongst respondents who have sought help for mental health issues in Malaysia as of June 2019, by demography. During the period surveyed, 50 percent of male respondents who have experienced mental health issues stated that they sought help, compared to 40 percent of female respondents. Respondents who earned seven thousand ringgits and above were more likely to seek help for mental health issues, with 47 percent, than those who earned three thousand ringgits and less, at 35 percent.
