This statistic shows the results of a survey on the quality of the information provided on food labels in Russia from November to December 2018. According to the results, 67 percent of respondents believed that labels provided enough information on food products.
Russian residents of cities with a population of over 250,000 people, main purchasers of food products in a household who purchased ice cream, sauces, mayonnaise, ketchup, spices, herbs, bread, meat products, dairy products, cheese, fresh fruit, fish, seafood, or cereal (at least three of the listed goods/categories).

Methodology: the online access panel was in accordance with the ESOMAR, ISO 20252, and ISO 26362 standards with a sample size of 2,000 respondents. Every respondent was certified.
The 'traffic light' labelling is a label that can be placed on pre-packaged food and drinks to show nutritional information with details on the energy, fat, saturated fat, sugars and salt content.
