A survey conducted in June 2019 into consumer attitudes towards 5G technology revealed that 56.7 percent of respondents would consider using 5G as an alternative to the Australian national broadband network. The survey also highlighted concerns about health as 26.1 percent of respondents said they were worried about health risks associated with the technology.
