In a survey conducted in 2020, regarding media reports on the safety of autonomous vehicles, 72 percent of the respondents in South Korea stated that media reports made them more cautious about autonomous vehicles. Comparatively, 55 percent of respondents in China also agreed that media reports made them more cautious about autonomous vehicles in 2020.
