In the first half of 2020, the foreign direct investment (FDI) from the Netherlands in Mexico added up to approximately 3.2 million U.S. dollars, a sum larger than the figures from the entire year of 2018 as well as 2019. During the given timespan, the FDI from the Netherlands to the North American country was by far highest in 2016, when Mexico received nearly 265 million dollars from the European nation.
