This statistic provides an overview of public opinion about legislative measures for reducing alcohol consumption in Russia in 2017 and 2018. During both years, over 40 percent of the population found government intervention to be insufficient or too soft. On the other hand, over one-third of respondents considered that the measures were exactly as effective as needed.
