This statistic displays the results of a survey concerning the distribution of commuter expenses in the Netherlands in 2019. As of 2019, a sizable share of employees surveyed indicated that they paid for their own travel costs. Over 50 percent of survey respondents completely or partially paid for their travel expenses in 2019, while a quarter of employers paid for all of their employees travel expenses.
