During a 2019 survey, 32.6 percent of respondents in Colombia said they went to movie theaters. In Chile, Brazil, and Argentina, the share of movie-goers among the population surveyed stood below 20 percent. Meanwhile, Mexico held the highest magazine penetration rate within Latin America.
