This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted between 1987 and 2017 asking junior high school students in Japan about their previous kissing experiences. In 2017, almost 13 percent of female respondents stated that they have kissed someone before, while only 9.5 percent of male respondents reported to have had their first kiss.
