Happiness levels of NHS and private dentists in the United Kingdom 2019
In the United Kingdom, happiness linked to the working environment varied greatly among NHS and Private dentists. In 2019, most private dentists were happy with their work environment, whereas very few dentists working predominantly for the NHS were satisfied. For instance, 83 percent of private dentists declared to have enough time to manage patient expectations for only 9 percent of NHS dentists. NHS dentists were significantly unhappy with the level of care they could provide and the stress of carrying out their work.
