The production value of solar photovoltaic energy companies in Italy has more than doubled over the past few years. In 2022, it amounted to 708 million euros. In comparison, the net revenue of the photovoltaic products sector in Italy totaled approximately 688 million euros that year.

Only includes companies with significant (statutory) turnover and a degree of specialization in the sector greater than or equal to 50 percent of the total turnover. The calculation also considers the balance of power between companies. For example, companies with too high a turnover were discarded, so that their balance sheet structure does not excessively influence the average sector indicators.
