This statistic illustrates how many persons applied for asylum in Czechia and how many of them applied for the first time from July 2019 to July 2020. Between February and April 2020, the number of total applicants decreased from 125 to 20 persons, increasing to 175 by July. In July 2020, 105 asylum applications were lodged for the first time.
