The North Face

The company was bought by VF Corporation in 2000, which owns other iconic brands, such as Vans, Timberland, and Supreme. The corporation’s outdoor segment is the largest segment in terms of worldwide profits. The same segment generated over five billion U.S. dollars’ worth of global annual revenue for the past two years.
Fierce competition
In terms of global revenue, VF Corporation was among the top sportswear and sporting goods companies worldwide. The company stood in third place, between adidas and Puma, which are both well-known athletic apparel brands based in Germany.
