According to the survey conducted by Rakuten Insight on September 2023, 77 percent of respondents in the Philippines stated that they purchased organic food products because they believed that these were healthier or more nutritious. In comparison, four percent of respondents stated that they purchased such food products because they wanted to keep up with the current food trends.
