Under BOT, private players arrange all finances for the project, while collecting toll revenue or annuity fee from the government. They have an active roll in building, operating and maintaining the road for a certain timeline.
Under EPC, NHAI the private players have no roll in the road's ownership, toll collection or maintenance.
Under BOT-HAM, combines 60 percent BOT and 40 percent EPC. The funding is arranged by a developer who invest about 20-25 percent of the cost of the project released by the government close to 40 percent.
India's financial year begins in April and ends in March. For example, FY 2016 started in April 2015 and ended in March 2016.
