According to a survey conducted in October 2024, most Russians believed their country was on the right path. The highest share of respondents holding that opinion was recorded among those aged 55 years and older. In the youngest surveyed aged group from 18 to 24 years, 16 percent believed Russia was going down the wrong path. During that period, the approval rating of the country's president, Vladimir Putin, stood at 87 percent.
