According to a survey carried out by Hotukdeals in 2017, for the majority of UK consumers, search engines like Google were influential when finding and choosing a retailer for shopping. Following that, 39 percent of respondents said they find and choose a retailer while passing by. TV advertising was a factor with 20 percent of surveyed consumers.
