Latin America & Caribbean: air passenger traffic growth 2001-2019
In 2019, the air passenger traffic in Latin American and the Caribbean grew by more than four percent in relation to the previous year. In total, over 680 million air travelers passed through airports in the region that year. In 2010, Latin American and Caribbean airports recorded the highest increase in passenger traffic since 2001, with more than 13 percent.
