This statistic presents the results of a survey about awareness of the origin of foreign luxury brands among luxury consumers in China as of January 2019. According to the survey conducted by McKinsey, approximately 90 percent of Chinese respondents correctly indicated that Chanel was a French brand, whereas only 40 percent of respondents knew that Brooks Brothers was an American company.
