In the second quarter of 2021, the number of fixed telephone subscribers in Egypt reached around 10.3 million, compared to 10.05 million in the first quarter of 2021. During the period under review, the number of telephone subscribers followed an increasing trend. Moreover, the majority of these subscriptions took place in urban areas in comparison to rural areas.
