Citizens satisfaction with democracy in Indonesia 2023

According to a survey conducted in Indonesia, as of December 2023, around 59 percent of respondents claimed that they were satisfied with the way democracy is implemented in the country. Meanwhile, about 36.6 percent of respondents admitted they were dissatisfied with the democracy in Indonesia. With over 204 million registered voters representing around 75 percent of its population, Indonesia held the world's largest single-day election to choose a new president, vice president, parliamentary and local representatives on February 14, 2024.
