This statistic shows the results of a survey on the most purchased types of grocery items in Indonesia as of April 2018, broken down by age group. During the survey period, 82 percent of the respondents below 18 years old purchased food and beverage items, compared to only three percent of such respondents who purchased cigarettes. For those aged 36 years old and above, home care items were the most frequently purchased items, with 83 percent of respondents indicating that they purchased such items.
