08.09.2021 New member of Statista Executive Board: Arne Wolter takes over the position of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer as of September 1, 2021
Hamburg, September 8, 2021 – As of September 1, 2021, Arne Wolter takes on the role of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Statista. In this role, he will lead the global account business. Arne has diverse sales and digital experience: Having worked for Bertelsmann and Gruner + Jahr (G+J) in various management roles for over 20 years. Most recently, as a member of the Executive Board and Chief Digital Officer (CDO), he was responsible for all digital business units and the digital transformation of G+J. During his time as CDO, he expanded the share of G+J's digital revenues from 10% to over 40%. Milestones of his tenure included the successful digital expansion of the Stern and Gala brands, the acquisitions of Chefkoch, and the purchase and subsequent contribution of Ligatus to Outbrain. With the founding of the Applike Group, he has built one of the most successful app marketers internationally for G+J. Arne Wolter lives with his family in Hamburg.
