Since 2020, the Statista company database, called Company DB, has provided information on countless companies worldwide. This includes, among others, data on the number of employees, company revenues, the industry in which a company operates, contact data and a variety of further key figures for listed companies. This year, an international Statista analysis team has been able to make company data accessible to customers from more than 60 million companies worldwide.

Hamburg, Germany. There are now 200 percent more datasets offering comprehensive company insights in the Statista company database, when compared to last year. The Company DB is an intuitive tool that offers customers quick access to structured and reliable company information. The heart of the tool is the search page, which provides a clear presentation of selected company key figures. A combination of different countries, regions and industries can also be selected. Other filter options include trends, sales data and employee figures. The number of filters is constantly being expanded, and the team is already planning to implement a city filter. More in-depth insights into the companies can be found on the associated company profiles. 

Up to five companies can be viewed simultaneously for a quick comparison, providing a competitive overview and a periodic market assessment. Compact reporting for the competitive landscape and market assessments merge into Statista Company Reports with all the previously described data. These are essential for understanding market players as well as for establishing valid benchmarks.   

"Our goals for 2023 remain ambitious: From 60 million companies to 100 million. Under strict quality control, additional data, amongst others, from the United Kingdom, France, Canada will be included. In addition to a variety of tool enhancements, we are working on a continuous expansion of the trend filter.
