Ireland's Best Law Firms 2023
The Sunday Independent Ireland’s Best Law Firms 2023 survey recognises the most highly regarded law firms as recommended by legal professionals and business clients.
In order to do this, we are conducting a survey among legal professionals across Ireland until Friday, 20 May, 2022. The survey will take just a few minutes and every recommendation is appreciated. All responses will be in confidence and anonymised.
To participate, please use the button below. At the end of the survey, we ask you to provide us with your professional e-mail address, but this is merely to ensure the quality of the data. Statista operates under international market research standards and complies with GDPR data protection rules.

To answer this question The Sunday Independent is conducting a survey among legal professionals and business clients in co-operation with the independent market research company Statista. Statista publishes worldwide established rankings and company listings with high profile media partners, including lists of law firms in various countries around the world.
Who can participate?
Every legal professional with an admission in Ireland as well as every business client is eligible to participate. This includes:
- Solicitors
- Barristers
- Counsels in a legal department of a company or public authority
- Other business clients
What does the questionnaire look like?
The questionnaire consists of two parts.
In the first part you will be able to choose law fields in which you can recommend law firms. After choosing the law fields, you can first recommend law firms and then individual solicitors. Entering the recommendation is aided by an autocomplete function, which will suggest you law firms based on the letters you entered. You may also freely nominate any law firm that is not proposed by the autocomplete list. Self-recommendations will not be considered.
The second part consists of questions about the current state of the legal profession in Ireland. While it is optional, we would value your views on these important issues.
How long is the survey accessible for participation?
The survey will be accessible from Monday, 28 March, 2022 to Friday, 20 May, 2022.
