Coronavirus TV viewing: broadcast network audience growth U.S. 2020, by daypart
Between the weeks of February 17 to 21 and March 16 to 20, 2020, daytime viewership of the big four broadcast networks in the United States increased by 28.4 percent, and early morning audiences grew by 5.4 percent. The coronavirus has resulted in many individuals self-isolating or quarantining in an effort to control the outbreak, which has led to increased TV viewing and news consumption.
