United States is a lucrative market for e-mail marketing. As of 2017, almost 10% of the e-mail users in the world are in the U.S. and this number is expected to grow further in the years to come. Most of the American respondents check their e-mails one to three times per day on average, as of 2016. In terms of promotional e-mails, most U.S consumers prefer to receive them monthly, no matter the category and as of the preferred medium to open mails, the majority of U.S. respondents stated mobile devices.
