U.S. consumers' selection criteria for gin 2017
Different factors play a role when purchasing gin: As for U.S. respondents at the age of 21 and older who buy gin, brand and quality tip the scales. Almost 50% of the respondents feel that both these factors play an important role while purchasing the clear alcoholic spirit. Taste is another important factor among consumers.
Meanwhile, not many respondents regard advertisement as a considerable decision factor when buying gin. Same is the case with ingredients as just 6% of the consumers base their purchase on this criterion.
