Gin drinking frequency of consumers in the United States 2017

Americans might be one of the main consumers of alcoholic beverages in the world, but opinions differ when it comes to gin: According to the Survey Data Table for the Statista survey ‘’Alcoholic Beverages in the United Kingdom 2017’’, **% of the respondents never drink gin. One percent of the U.S. respondents consume the distilled alcoholic beverage every day and *% of the consumers like to drink gin several times per week.

Alcohol consumption

In global comparison, China leads the way in consumption of alcoholic beverages by volume. As of 2018, the Chinese consumed more than ** billion liters of alcohol which is almost twice as much as the amount consumed by respondents in the United States. Brazil ranks third on this list followed by Germany, Russia and Japan.

The scene changes entirely if you look at the sale of alcoholic beverages on per capita basis. Now Czechia is the global leader in alcohol consumption while China drops to number ** on this list.
