Walmart is the most popular choice amongst American customers when it comes to purchasing balcony, terrace and garden equipment. This is according to the Survey Data Table for the Statista survey Outdoor & Barbecues in the United States 2017 which shows that more than one third of the U.S. consumers have already bought different kinds of equipment from the American retail corporation.
As of 2020, the 8th most valuable brand in the world, worth US$77.5 billion, Walmart was founded in 1962. The corporation is headquartered in Bentonville Arkansas and, as of 2018, it ranked first among the leading American retailers, with total retail sales of around US$391 billion.
Home Depot follows with 34% of the respondents stating they have already bought either balcony terrace or garden equipment from Home Depot. IKEA, with over 400 stores worldwide, ranks 7th.
