Pet fish ownership in Italy 2024 by generation

According to results from the Statista Global Consumer Survey conducted in Italy in 2024, nine percent of respondents stated possessing a pet fish. Among those surveyed, Generation Z, individuals born between 1995 and 2012, had the highest proportion of pet fish ownership among all generations surveyed, with 11 percent. In contrast, baby boomers, those born between 1946 and 1964, had the lowest pet fish ownership share at five percent.
