The number of people using AI powered tools in the United States in 2023 was around 90 million people, or nearly a third of the population. This number is expected to grow considerably to nearly 241 million people by the end of the decade in 2030. The sudden jump and near doubling of the number of AI tool users from 2020 to 2023 can be attributed to the sudden availability of mass amount of generative AI tools in both business and for private.
