Consumer preferences for future delivery options in Germany 2023

When asked about the delivery methods they would like to use in the future for their e-commerce purchases, more than half of online shoppers surveyed in Germany in September 2023 went for "Postal worker with traditional delivery methods" like a van running on gasoline. That figure was much lower for those who could foresee a future for e-commerce delivery via drones (15 percent) or via robots (14 percent).
