According to the Statista Consumer Insights Global survey, Canada reported the highest share of adults who said they could not afford to go on vacation among the selected global countries as of June 2023. As of that month, three in ten Canadian respondents stated so, as did 29 percent of surveyed adults in the United States. By contrast, only nine percent of the sample in China and 12 percent in Mexico said the same.
