Influencer advertising reach in Portugal 2017-2029, by platform
In Portugal, influencer advertising reached more than seven million people via Facebook in 2021. From this year onwards, Facebook influencer ads are expected to lose public, being that, in 2027, this social media platform may reach 6.5 million users.
Instagram is expected to reach 4.8 million users with its influencer advertising in 2024. This value will slightly decrease until 2029, when Instagram is forecast to reach 4.5 million users.
Reddit is expected to moderately increase the share of users reached by influencer advertising, but it is TikTok that has demonstrated the fastest increasing tendency in the number of those exposed to influencer ads, rising from 369,000 users in 2019, to over three million users in 2029.
