This was most likely the result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent decrease in travel activities worldwide. The Statista Industry Outlook estimates that the revenue of this market will slowly begin to increase again. However, estimations suggest that even by 2025, revenue will not reach the pre-pandemic values.
