Kalanick’s Uber Exit Could Win Back 3 in 10 Ex-Users

Ride hailing company Uber is standing at the beginning of a new era in it's history. After a series of scandals over the last few months, culminating in a letter from investors asking him to leave, Travis Kalanick resigned as CEO on Wednesday. While the future of the top position and indeed the company itself is still up in the air, a new survey by Morning Consult shows that 28 percent of ex-users or those who have scaled back their usage of the app could be persuaded to return now that Kalanick has stepped down. The change that would win back the most users is the lowering of prices. Nevertheless, 14 percent say they would never return.
