UK General Election

The UK could face hung parliament

The UK may be on course for a hung parliament in next week's general election. A new analysis by YouGov predicts that the Conservative Party may win 310 seats, 16 shy of an absolute majority. Labour would win 257 seats, up from 229. Meanwhile the Liberal Democrats would get 10, the SNP 50, Plaid Cymru three and the Greens one. If the polls are accurate, the result could prove disastrous for Theresa May who called the snap election in April. Read the full story on the Independent.
