Global Attitudes
Chinese Feel More Positive Than Americans
According to the Pew Research Center, the Chinese are pretty upbeat about the evolving role of their country in the world. Americans on the other hand seem to be pretty downbeat, with only 21 percent saying their country plays as important a role as it did 10 years ago. The survey was conducted last spring, perhaps Americans feel a little better a year on.
