Most Americans Want Russia Ties Investigated

According to a poll conducted by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal late last week, the majority of Americans say Congress should probe contact between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russia. 53 percent of Americans are in favor of an investigation, a number that rises to 55 percent among Independents and 80 percent among Democrats. Republicans are far less inclined to say they want an investigation, according to the poll, with only a quarter of them in favor of one.
