As the U.S. celebrates Presidents' Day, who was the most popular post-war president? According to historic polls by Gallup, John F. Kennedy has the highest average approval rating. Over his short time in the White House, Kennedy scored a rating of 70.1 percent. The last president to enjoy an average over 50 percent was Bill Clinton. In Trump's second year in office, he averaged 40.4 percent, putting him at the bottom of this ranking.
