Who's Going to Davos?

The World Economic Forum will take place in Davos from January 21 to 24. Around 3,000 participants are expected to attend this year, including Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg, Prince William and U.S. President Donald Trump.

As this infographic shows, most of the participants this year again come from the United States (674). In second place is the UK with 270 participants. A total of 159 people are expected from Switzerland and 137 from Germany.

The World Economic Forum was founded in Switzerland in 1971. In addition to political and economic leaders, many non-governmental organizations, journalists and activists are also taking part. This year's focus is on climate change, among other issues.
