The Most Popular Original Streaming Shows

Nothing beats Netflix for streaming original programming. According to new data from Symphony Advanced Media which used its own technology to track viewership figures, Orange Is The New Black was the most streamed original series last year. In fact, Netflix's original shows accounted for nine of the top-10 most streamed originals in 2016.

Amazon, Netflix and Hulu are notoriously secretive regarding viewership numbers and they do not release numbers of their own. Symphony Advanced Media's independent analysis is based on the first 35 days of each show's release in the U.S.
